    Invasion U.S.A.

I just saw this for the first time this weekend, and it absolutely blew my mind.

Bad guys just doing unspeakably horrible things without motive - like randomly blowing up 5 suburban houses during Christmas. Chuck Norris somehow tracking them down time and again, shooting Uzis in both hands and speaking less than 5 lines the whole film.

Just one of the craziest 80s action movies I've come across so far.

Haha - Yeah, that's the one!

Richard Lynch plays a Russian commie terrorist in the USA - he sounds and acts like could be Klaus Kinski's brother or something.

And he just goes around doing various random acts of violence that are just evil for the sake of being evil.

haven't seen it in probbaly 20 years. I remember it as being a fun movie though. Chuck at his best. love the scene where they put the bomb on the bus and he takes if off(while driving at high speed) and puts it on the terrorist truck

I've wanted to catch up with this film for a long time. I have seen the rocket-launcher showdown scene. Who needs six-shooters when the good/bad guys can have anti-tank rockets!?!

I love this movie ... I mean LOVE IT!!!! just pure random violent action. and the pure cheese one liners, "didn't work huh? now it will" KABOoooomm

some guy did a very funny review of it on youtube. which is almost as awesome as the movie.

this movie is what made me a Chuck Norris fan

That's one of those movies that Roger Ebert beat up so bad, he made it sound fun.

One of my favorite 80's action movies. The villain is great and there's alot of horrible scenes that make you cheer Chuck Norris on. But it's loaded with so many Norris one-liners that it sometimes seems chees-

                              Amazing!

For some reason I actually watched "Alien From L.A." before I saw the MST3K version. Probably just hoping kathy Ireland would get partially naked got me through. Her voice is so crazy.

I just read the Golan-Globus article on Wikipedia. At one point they bought the film rights to Spider-Man, and they were thinking of Tobe Hooper to direct. Check this out:

Golan and Globus misunderstood the concept of the character—"They thought it was like The Wolf Man", said director Joseph Zito—and instructed writer Leslie Stevens, creator of the television series The Outer Limits, to write a treatment reflecting their misconception. In Stevens's story, a corporate scientist intentionally subjects ID-badge photographer Peter Parker to radioactive bombardment, transforming him into a hairy, suicidal, eight-armed monster. The human tarantula refuses to join the scientist’s new master-race of mutants, battling a succession of mutations kept in a basement laboratory.

(Joseph Zito is the outstanding director of Invasion U.S.A., by the way)
