    Firefox 4

Wide release was yesterday.. reviews tout this as much faster than 3, but my browsing seems to actually be slower than it was with 3.6.15. And I hate the bookmarks icon (which I use constantly) now being at the far right instead of the left/middle..

I know there are some ways to adjust the layout, which is what I'll likely do..

I downloaded the beta and yes, it is by far much faster on this Dell machine at work. 3gb of RAM help and it's a dual 2.8. Running XP.

Maggy was Beta testing 4 but I am staying with 3 for now. No time to learn a new layout at this moment.

I just downloaded 4 this morning, and so far it is much faster. As far as the layout, it doesn't seem all that different. The tabs are higher, above the address bar, but other than that I haven't noticed much different. But then, I haven't had time to explore it much yet.

4 on my Mac is lighting faster than 3 was. And the new layout doesn't bug me. It's not that much different. But I can see if you were used to it being one way, how it might bug you another way.

I downloaded it and had to completely change the interface at the top so it would be what I was used to. I haven't noticed a difference in speed, but then I never really compared browser speed.

I've switched to Chrome and never looked back.

I downloaded Firefox 4 yesterday and it seems a lot faster as well. My tabs are higher and the home page button is now to the far right, but my bookmark is in the same place with my other menu options. I tell you what. Firefox, in any version, has always been light years superior to Explorer. What a joke that got to be. I had so many problems on that, is wasn't funny.

                    +1! I agree 100%

Also, just the add ons make Firefox far superior to any of the other browser options.

And yes, I went ahead and downloaded it this morning and I'll have to say it works very well and they didn't change too much so it is just as easy to use.

Google Chrome. Once you try it, there is no going back.

I tried it then went back!

Honestly I did try it but it had compatibility problems with a couple sites or programs I use , I don't remember now, but I couldn't use it.
