    New Smurfs trailer

    Really not digging the voices.

The Smurfs trailers and video clips on Yahoo! Movies

I still hope this wont suck.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I hate the smurfs. Hated their voices in the original as well.

But I love this picture. Makes me laugh.

Those who look outside dream. Those who look within awake.

The Smurfs have no place being in the big city, this is gonna suck big time.

I was surprise to see they are going for a skin-like texture on the Smurf. I've always thought of them like the toys, being shiny smooth like plastic. The skin pores and blemishes really looks wrong to me.

I'm w/Werewolf... I still think that it can be good... the thing that
bothered me the most was "Scottish" Smurf and the quasi-naughty bits
which seemed a bit too prevalent in a minute long trailer.

I like the Smurfs and still hope it will turn out okay. Hank Azaria looks and sounds good as Gargamel but, other than Johnathan Winters, I'm not that thrilled with the voice cast. Katy Perry, George Lopez and SNL rejects Kenan Thompson and Fred Armison. Wha? That's the best they could get? Alan Cumming's Scottish Smurf is also pretty bad. Paul Reubens as Jokey and Jeff Foxworthy as Handy could work but I haven't heard them yet.

Oh, well, even if it stinks we should still get some nice Smurf toys out of it.

I somehow knew when they announced this that they were going to go the cheap way and bring them into modern America so they could make lots of fart jokes and have them ironically sing outdated top 40 songs or whatever overdone schtick goes on in family movies these days.

There were 3 Smurfs cartoon episodes I liked. The one where they get the one with Dreamy Smurf going to the alien planet, the one where Gargamel makes Smurfette and they one where they get the G'namp disease. The rest was pretty dull to me.

I'm really into studying the first few seasons, and get a bit more out of
the show, but your picks are definitely three of the best!

I grew up loving the Smurfs and still have a huge soft spot for them, but these trailers scare me.

I see Boomerang has put the Smurfs back into high rotation. I'm sure to jump on the movie bandwagon.
