How are your Roads?

How are your Roads? I live in northern california and the roads in the South Bay are rough. Just today I hit three potholes. I tried to avoid hitting them but no luck. So how about you, how are your roads?

Most roads in my town look like someone dropped cluster bombs on them.

We only have dirt roads down here in Georgia

Garbage!!! Winter just kills the blacktop around here. Then they try and patch them and all you end up with is a bunch of blacktop gravel all over!!

Same, though this year we stayed frozen for long periods, instead of freeze/thaw/freeze thaw. We're a little better than in past years.

Roads in my small city are so bad right now, there are almost daily stories in the local paper. People who visit the city even write letters to the editor saying "your city should be ashamed"

Roads up in my part of The Great White North are beginning to lose their 6 inch coating of compressed snow. The melting snow uncovers the potholes formed from frost damage and heavy vehicle traffic.

Once India and China really hit their economic stride we'll be in rough shape to even be able to patch up our roads...

He's not kidding. My wife's sister lives in north Georgia and were in NC. As soon as we cross the border....all dirt. I will say our roads here aren't great but i can tell when we cross the border. They are pretty rough

In Oakland, they're AWFUL. I don't even have a car, but I really have to watch my step walking around here or I'll twist my ankle! (and I've done that twice on cracked sidewalks!)

I dare say ours are like most. Half are good, the other half need work. Once they fix the second half - the first half need work. It's the endless cycle. They did just finish major work on our 2 interstates (adding lanes and resurfacing). So I will say it's pretty nice now.
