      I think I saw him in a B&W Avengers episode. He was a great Alfred.

                I really liked Gough as Alfred. His subplot is the only thing that saves Batman and Robin from being totally horrible.

                He was in Hammer's first Dracula movie, "Horror of Dracula" among many other movies. Lots of Tim Burton stuff after Batman too.

                        He was the Celestial Toymaker in Doctor Who, (1965). His maybe last acting gig was Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow.

                          I don't like a lot of actors but he was good. He played Alfred pretty well despite the lame Joel Schumacher movies that almost killed the Batman movie franchise.

                            He was possibly the best actor in all of the Batman movies he was in. Played a great Alfred. RIP.
