It's finally being released on Blu-ray. I hope they do a nice restore to it as well. The DVD looks pretty soft. This and Star Wars are the last two I have been impatiently waiting for years to be released.

Speaking of American Graffiti which included Ron Howard and Charles Martin Smith ... I wish they would release Cotton Candy on DVD

I don't think i've seen that one for 30+ years.
