    Looking for Comic Inventory Program

    Does anyone know of any good (hopefully Free) Comic Inventory Software? I've found a few online but most I've found are outdated or no longer work.

    Comic Rack. It's a comic book reader and also keeps inventory. I've been slowly adding my collection to the program. There is an add on (which you'll likely read about on their site) called Comic Vine Scrapper which will add pictures of the covers and all the info like writer, artist etc.

      I downloaded comic rack but there are no instructions. How do you add a comic? I see lots of stuff for viewing web comics, but that's not what i'm trying to do.

        You go to the tab for Library. Then there should be an option to add series or add issues individually. Once you do that, click on the star (Comic Vine Scrapper) and it will pull up all the info on the book.

            Try Collectorz.com, their comic collector is top notch, updated with all information including pictures weekly, and very easy to use.

              Most of the (decent/good) Comic Book DB Application that are FREE usually have a 500 Book Limit...You would have to purchase it if you wanted to expand your collection...that seems to be the case with

              Collectorz.com looks nice but it is only FREE up to the 1st 100...

              I've purchased and used ComicBase before it had a FREE Edition (which is limited to 500 Books): ComicBase

              If you want 100% Free with no limitations, then you may want to try GCStar:

              GCStar --> Personal Collections Manager

              ...after installing the application, you can select Comics as the type of Collection and under Settings>Preferences, select Internet and then select 'Comic Book DB' under Site to retrieve data from...

              You can do a lot more with GCStar like Movie Collections or you can create your own Collection like...let's say...Mego's??? ...or Action Figures...Star Wars...Star Trek...it's pretty flexible.

              Hope this Helps
