probably because anyone who was breast fed was weened and thus told NOT to drink from mama anymore while simultaneously being handed a glass of cowjuice as the acceptable substitute. Anyone who was not breast fed never even had the option of deciding whether or not they liked it.

My view ....... I would HAPPILY drink it from the dispenser of my lover ....... But not an unknown stranger

For me, not knowing where it came from is the gross part.

Okay, so this rates right up there with the Fart Thread.

Now, let me get this straight: you can talk about consuming some stranger's breast milk, but don't dare bring up Religion or Politics because some people might be offended...

You'd think with all the diseases and genetic issues involved this wouldn't be allowed. how can they really test for everything that can be passed along to insure this is safe?

now if it's from your partner or wife and it's just you trying it, i can see that.

                    but not selling it.

Can't the same argument be made against cow's milk?

                          ^ Truth!

I mean, cripes....they are feeding ground-up cows to OTHER cows, along with hormones, drugs of all sorts, and ground up newspaper to boot!

I drink so LITTLE milk, believing the adage: "Milk is for sick people and babies", but personally, I'd actually RATHER consume milk from a clean, healthy human female....have you BEEN to a modern dairy farm and seen the REAL innerworkings? ....They remind me of those bleak, 'science gone wrong' films of the 70s...

In MY mind, its like this:

"Here, try this overly processed, chemically 'enhanced', bodily TOXIC, 'milk' from this disease-ridden 'cross-genetic organism!'

                          ~OR~

"Here, try this all-natural, calcium and nutrient RICH, UN-processed milk from a healthy, well-adjusted, and clean human female 'donor'!"

But, you can also say eating a clean human's flesh might be more healthy and safe than eating an animal.

Even if that's true, nobody does it or even argues for it's acceptance

I always thought drinking normal cow's milk was really bizarre. I drink it all the time, but... it just seems weird to me. So does consuming meat - yet a bacon cheeseburger is probably my favorite food in the whole world.

Cultural norms, thank you for dictating my behavior!
