^ Thanks. I'm bringing the camera today, maybe I can get some 'in the wild' shots...even if my camera is a POS...

Not a BAD outing all and all, got one thing that I'm VERY pleased with, and some more treats that are very nice as well.

Here are some shots from various displays and racks. I did not buy any of this stuff, just thought you'd all like to see:

....Now on to what I DID get - Intelivision games with their boxes, overlays, and instructions! Not worth MUCH, but cool looking and .50 each! ...And all owned by the same person - "BARNES".

Vintage NFL games! The one on the RIGHT is VERY involved, playbooks and charts and all, along with some sort of device...I bet this one was VERY costly back in the day...

We have about ten, but he looked so SAD! lol

This is VERY cool, made very well, and nearly Mego-scale. It's Mr. Incredible's car! There is a cool gimmick as well - when you push the switch, Bob pops under and Mr. Incredible pops up! (I have the radio controlled one as well...I sort of collect Incredibles on the side...never have seen this piece though..)

A record from 1920! Its very THICK...lets hit the Flapper's Palace and do the Zippity-Do to "Huggin and chalkin" by Kay Kyser!

...And the STAR of the day - My very first CARDED 'Mego' - Samson from Rainfall! How WEIRD is it that I was JUST looking at the Goliath for sale here! SAMSON - with glow-in-the-dark donkey jaw-bone action! When I saw this on the shelf, I yelled out "WOWW!" lol

Have fun, I sure did! Cant wait to do it again next week!

Thanks for the photos! That was really neat--like I was actually there with you.

            Indeed mam!

I wonder if I should have grabbed those Uneeda and Panosh dolls....?

If I'm going to find carded Mego-esque stuff, and 30 year-old video games, I'll have to try and pencil-in TWO runs per week from now on...lord only KNOWS what we have MISSED...

SUPER SWEET score on Sampson! Congrats!

Still... I can't believe you passed on Kenny Rogers' "share your love" LP.

I am so kidding on the Kenny Rogers thing. Sadly our thrift shops never have the cool accidental Mego's. I guess it's an Arkansas thing.

^ What about 'Radar Men From the Moon' and 'At Home Yoga' on VHS?

I wonder, if at .65 per VHS tape, should I buy them all OUT of their horror/sci-fi/vintage stuff and open up a classic-style video rental place out of my condo?
Seriously though...if you collect/use VHS tapes, write your want lists here...you never know..

"Kind of trashy"...? Gee, thanks man... Just call me the 'puss-filled oozer'. lol

Well, they ARENT the cleanest places on earth, but we have plenty of soap, bleach, hand alcohol, chlorine mist, sponges, rags, etc...

I'm more bothered by the 80-year-old ladies flatulating through the isles and the morbidly obese family TALKING LIKE THIS and eating fast food while they shop...

I found a carded Ruth at a thrift store a couple of months ago. The card and bubble were trashed but the figure and booklet are in good shape. Congrats on your score!
