    What a crazy day!

It was a good morning waking up. Me and my wife suprised my son for his birthday(turned four today) with new wrestling toys. So my son wanted to go to Chuckie Cheese later on .....so cool no problem. My wife had gotten a phone call from her dad at noon that they where gonna take her grandfather to the doctor to check why blood in his stool. It was a long day at work and get ready to have fun and take my son out and my wife had mentioned being worried about her grandfather. It crazy because we had fun then driving home get the call that he had passed! My wife breaks down and then my son breaks down crying. Went from happy TIMES to what just happened! You know you here stories about families having a birthday and someone in the family passing the same day. I know its life but man he loved great grandson but never thought it could happen to us. So after all this happens,we get a birthday card in the mail from him yesterday and states dont open til your birthday and inside was "I love you and Happy Birthday"! After reading that it put on my azz. What a day.... may you Rest In Peace Grandpa Jay!

sorry to hear your loss. However, it is beautiful and touching that your son had a last message from his great grandad.
      rest in peace, Jay
