"Glee", just a remake of "90210" set to music

My wife is hooked on it. I have seen a few episodes, it is OK, but it is nothing but "90210".

It has the troubles of being a teenager, pregnancy, teen drinking, homosexuality, dating, bullying, etc, just like 90210.

IMO, Glee is better because of the music

Btw, Leah Michele is hot!!!!

My fiancee loves Glee, so I end up seeing it. For the first few episodes I actually thought it was pretty funny. I thougth the first episode was very close to the movie "Election" though.

I've liked Jane Lynch from the Christopher Guest movies she's in - so I'm glad she's getting the spotlight now, but most of the other funny characters got writen off the show (the teachers wife, the original coach, the old music teacher) - and I find that they write less and less jokes for the show each episode now.

I never watched 90210 - but from what I saw it looked horrid. To each his own thought I guess!

"Glee" is one of them stories that gets remade every few years with some minor tweaks. Ever since Irene Cara decided she was gonna live forever.... Andy Hardy realized his folks had an old barn where they could put on a show.... or Alfalfa warbled his way thorugh "The Barber of Seville"....

I suspect the latest incarnation happened 'cos "Highschool Musical" made a LOT of money. "Let's do that, but add Simon form American Idol!"

My whole family enjoys the show. Its about the only show we all show up and watch together.....I'm an 80's guy and i like the music. The girls are hot!!

I really liked the first 13 episodes of Glee from Season one. Since then its been good but feels like something is missing.

I've given up on Glee. It's had some great moments and great music but by and large it's stories and plot twists are so contrived and over the top it just makes me cringe. It's off the DVR.

my sentiments. While I liked 90210 when it was on, it is NOTHING like Glee. Glee is sharp, witty, smart, and zany. 90201 was none of that.

I've seen it while surfing channels. I'd rate it right up there with 90210: not something I'd ever care to watch.

What can I say, I'm a High School Teacher and I live it during the day...

Give me History Channel, or a retro channel anytime.
