    TCM Oscar Movies

I can't stop watching TCM - they keep showing great movies during their Oscar marathon.

I'm watching "Two Arabian Knights" right now. At this rate I'll never sleep.

I was watching TCM the other night and they showed "The Gaslight," which I had never seen before. I loved it! TCM is one of those channels I have to stay away from if I plan to get anything meaningful done. Otherwise, I get sucked right in and there goes my day.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?

This time of the year it is especially good, with the 31 days of Oscar!

I watched "Marty" and "In Cold Blood" this weekend.

Luckily I'm on vacation - so I've been able to catch up on some movies I've never seen before and rewatched a bunch of great movies too.

Caught these for the first time:
"Auntie Mame" (never realized there's a reference in "Trading Places" to that
            one before).

            "Goodbye Mr. Chips"

            "The Hasty Heart"

I just caught the end of "The Red Ballon" now - I love this movie.

In Toronto I can't get TCM unless I buy a premium TV package, and I can't stand most of what's on TV. I wish I could just buy TCM on it's own.

We caught the opening of "In Cold Blood" the other day, and my fiancee almost didn't want to leave - but it was too beautiful to stay inside.
