Well Mexico is out of control. Yesterday morning my wife's uncle and aunt were on their way from San Fernando Mexico to Victoria Mexico to visit relatives. Well somewhere on the way they supposedly ended up being caught in the middle of a crossfire and were both killed. My wife's dad is taken it real hard as it was his brother. Inocent people are being killed for no reason. Sucks. The bad thing is that his body couldn't even come back to San Fernando to be buried. He had to be buried in Victoria. So her other uncle and grandmother went down to Victoria to identify the body and have him buried since he had to be buried today because there was not going to be an investigation and there were threats if they weren't buried today.

One of the narco gangs just released a video showing...

Ok...the next sentence will be greatly reduced in size and gave it a very faint yellow color, so it's very hard to read (even see it on screen), the only way you can read it...is if you highlight and magnify the sentence...because even describing it...is very graphic...so bear with me...

The video shows one guy hanging from his arms (while music blasting)...then these animals start castrating him while he's awake...then they peel the skin of his face off...then they decapitate him. Once all the horrific thing is done...these creatures starts high-fiven' each other, laughing in unison.

Horrific...and it just angers me to no end.

I'm so sorry to hear that :( My condolences.

What perplexes me to no end is how America's intelligence community does not understand these Mexican gangs are using the same playbook offered overseas by terrorists. Why they are sitting with their hands in their pockets when Mexico could CLEARLY become another terrorist-based country is just beyond my reasoning to understand. If they don't assist that country's president in squashing this up-rise very soon, we are in for untold terrors as it bleeds over into this country and blends into communities throughout the United States. I find it interesting that in the early 80's everyone was afraid of the Russians invading our country or parashooting in as was depicted in Red Dawn. And yet here we sit today with Mexican Drug Lords coming across our border, killing officials, and beheading private citizens and we treat it like it's an isolated incident. Our military should be on the border RIGHT NOW.

^ I could tell you EXACTLY why 'US Intelligence' looks the other way....but I need to adhere to the 'no politics/no religion' rule of the Museum.

There was an article on-line yesterday about how a new elected police chief had to flee to the US. I think it had something to do with the chief being a woman.

I'm in Mexico A LOT. I love that country and I love the Mexican people. If I could run my business there, I'd live there. All of this violence is SO overblown and exaggerated in the American press, particularly to gain momentum for the legalization of Marijuana. If what YOU'RE doing in Mexico has nothing to do with drugs or guns, you have very little to worry about.

That is not always necessarily true. My wife's uncle and aunt were good people. Never bothered anyone and that should have never happened to them or any of the inocent people that have been killed over there and there have been alot. But that goes for any country not just Mexico. But yeah the media does add to it.

Besides the innocent people injured and killed in the crossfire I also feel sorry for the innocent people of Mexico that rely on tourism to help them earn a living. I would imagine some of that business has taken a hit in some areas because of all the violence.

Mexico's poor suffers...yet they have this assclown as the world's richest billionaire...

Forbes: The Richest People in the World 2011

Carlos Slim Helu is probably wealthier than all the drug cartels combined...

Also...the drug cartels never bother Carlos Slim Helu.

                        What does that tell you?

Holy greenbacks Hector, I had never heard of him or his company (America Movil) until you posted that.

I would imagine that in Mexico his $74 billion could go a long way towards helping the needy instead of the greedy.

Who even needs that much money? I can't even fathom having that kind of wealth.

...and Bill Gates is tapping into the Mexican market...

                                My point?

There is money in Mexico...but it's going to the very few.
