Juarez is beyond hope...the only way it can be stopped...if American troops enter into the equation...this might be necessary since this horrific problem is right next to the United States.

I know Mexican president Calderon is trying his best...but he cannot do it alone...he needs help.

I don't know why that article says Juarez is one of the most deadliest cities in Mexico...IT IS THE DEADLIEST...by far.

There have been criminals as long as there have been people, but for so many to have such a hold on a society is heartbreaking. A city named after a man as great as Benito Juarez deserves better, but you could say that for Washington DC, as well. With 220 deaths per 100,000 people (IIRC) that's not the seamy underbelly of a society, but it's moved mainstream. I know there are huge issues with poverty there, but I wonder how much guilt is borne by a Western culture that often makes stuff like Scarface seem cool?

It's crazy no doubt but something needs to be done to help the innocent people but I doubt it.

Used to party there all the time in high school. It's beyond tragic what has happened.

Same here. I remember all the great times I had with friends and family. Those days are long gone. It's very sad.

I'm a white guy living in Mexico and will not ever go to Juarez. One of my good friends, also white is there LIVING there! What a nutter! I am just wondering when or if the violence will ever hit in my city. I'd close the Monster Cafe in a heartbeat.

It doesn't even have to be just American troops (at least on paper)

                              Make it a UN thing
