Easy there. No offence, but we - the rest of the world that is - don't owe you jack ****. I'm sorry to come on so strong, but that kinda language is dangerous. Sure, you helped us out in WW2, but you sure weren't here the first.
And I'm gonna keep it at that before this thread turns political. I applaude your patriotism, but the USA isn't better than the rest of the world, so please don't make it out that way. Cause frankly, that really does upset and bother me

Personally, I think the US could save some money by reducing it's empire.

First off ... we really don't need miltary bases in almost every country of the world anymore

Maybe everybody should go back to using salt as money.

That's OK, I know you meant well. Guess I'm a little too sensitive

And we yanks love Canada right back.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

The point to the US Dollar being cheaper is as more dollars are in the market, it would drive to cost of our exports down to the rest of the world. We should be able to sell more of our products to everyone. Hopefully, it does help and the economy will continue to improve.

Many of our eBay customers are in England and I remember a 2-1 ratio vs the pound a few years back. That was as low as I can remember the dollar dropping but until we started selling I never paid much attention to it. Since then it seems to be hovering around $1.50ish per pound. We can always tell when the dollar falls vs other countries tender by our sales. For awhile we were getting a lot of Japanese buyers who are some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with.

Anyone who doesn't think this can happen need only talk to anyone living in England in the late70's. Britain was the world economic standard for 200 plus years. Once the pound was de-valued, they were rationing electricity and had a three-day work week to conserve power.

I don't know to what extent this would happen to the US dollar, but it's already lost 11 percent of it's value in the last half of 2010. I doubt it's something to sit around and be fearful of, but I think it's close enough to a reality to just be aware of it's possibility.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

I know you want to take a trip down the "O" road, but this journey started a long, long time ago. Remain strong, Dane.

I'm not looking forward to having to wear the arse-less chaps that will be almost standard in the Mad Max future world.
