    Madison Wisconsin Demonstrations

So, I'm going to follow the no politics disclaimer.

But, I just thought I'd share that my office is right across from the GIANT demonstrations in Madison, Wisconsin. It is quite the sight!

There are a ton of articles about this. Here's one: Wisconsin Protests: Tens Of Thousands Turn Out In Madison Against Anti-Union Proposal

The protest has been very peaceful so far. It hasn't been difficult to get around. Tomorrow there is supposed to be a Tea Party rally. I'm hoping people can air their differing viewpoints and that things remain peaceful.

Sarah Palin has been rumored to be showing up tomorrow too. Jesse Jackson was here today.

I think it's really great that people are out there being heard. Even the students went out and supported their teachers in the demonstrations. It's a rare thing when students extend themselves in this way. It shows they value their teachers. Teachers are not disposable.

I'm here in Milwaukee, and we all look at Madison as being the small hole of liberalism in Wisconsin.. I'm glad the Governor's holding his own on his stance of cutting government spending.

Yep, I agree that Madison is very unique compared to the rest of Wisconsin. I live 15 miles from the cheddar curtain and I have visited Madtown more times then I can remember since it only takes us an hour to get there. Mostly for concerts (saw Pink Floyd twice at Camp Randall Stadium) and major partying
back when I was younger. Used to hit Pipe Fitters too but that's another story.

We have always referred to it as an economic bubble. When I was a sales rep you were always able to sell your products at a higher price in the Madison area.
