    Digital Camera Advice!

Hey y'all. I'm looking to pick up a new digital camera. My current one was a $99 cheapie from 4 years ago. It's 2 mega pixel and a little out dated. Anyway, I'm looking to get a new one and wanna spend around $200. Any recommendations? What features are most important? Pixels? I mainly need my camera for taking clear and clean shots of stuff for my eBay auctions. Anyway, I'd love to hear some recommendations. It's kinda overwhelming shopping for cameras......

I got mine last year at Sears for about $129.99. It's a Kodak EasyShare C300. Works pretty good and is what I use to take all my pictures. It has the view screen on it, a self-timer and it uses an SDCard. Easy upload to computers. You can also change the flash settings and even turn the flash off if you need to.

I really like the Canon Elph line. I've owned the sd100, sd600, and now I have the sd1000. They are compact, durable, and the controls are very intuitive.

Whatever cameras you look at, and ultimately you are going to decide on the features most important for your own personal use, I highly recommend the following two sites as the best I've seen for reviews and in depth analysis (and debate) about most cameras.

That being said, I highly recommend both Canon and Panasonic cameras from personal experience, and Nikon from the recommendations of others.

I have had a 200 and 600 - I argree completely. I'd also add that the phots are high quality and you can shoot good video on it. you can get a 600 for about $200 - a 1GB memory card upgrade is necessary over the 16MB is available at walmart for $15.

I have a Nikon Coolpix P2 and I love it. It's a 5 megapic and the pictures are great. If you're just looking for a point and shoot type camera the Coolpix are perfect, it also takes nice close-up pics. I think the Coolpix are up to P12 now and I'm seriously thinking about getting one for my husband.

I've had a few, and now I have the Sony Cyber-shot I bought last year for like $400 7.2 MP,but now you could find it for like $240 and it's really good.I'd also recommend the Canon Power shot,If Maria Sharapova says it's good then it's good
