I remember going through the Museum years ago looking for information on The Fighting Yank. Then one day about 4 years ago I came across the Forum. I lurked for about a year and then signed up.

How long now has the Forum been up?

All I remember is a couple of strippers, three bottles of Vodka, and waking up naked in the park wearing sexy underwear and a Darth Vader helmet. The rest is a blur...

But getting back to the forum: I got on board feb 2008, and started annoying people..I mean posting...almost immediately.

What I would really like to know: how was it like in the very beginning? Did you guys start with like one member? I'd like to hear the story from the Ancient Ones here. Were there any sections (like General Buzz, etc) or just one board? Is Mike the most ancient of us all? Will sunlight destroy him?
            I want to know!!!!!

Uh, what do you mean "Lost" ???

I first found the forum years ago looking for a way to shrink heads. Then the EMCE TREK and POTA came out and I started posting.

You know there are a lot of "lurkers" here everyday.

I guess this is what being on Reality Tv must feel like.

              Being watched . . . . . . . .

                I'm not the first member

I arrived about a month late of the grand opening (of the forum).

There are plenty of guys here that joined before me.

The original forum had very few forums (no General Buzz)

                All we had was .......
                Mego Buzz
                Auction Watch
                Customs

                I think that's it

In the old days since there was very few people on the forum sometimes you had to wait 3 days for a reply to a thread

                    That reminded me,

Back in the old days a lady joined to get some information about ABBA dolls (non Mego)

Since we didn't have many members she didn't get many replies or info, which was a shame because they looked interesting

Never seen them again since then.

I'm an original member of the Levy Mailing List from the '90s. There we'd all email each other about Megos. This was before the Museum was a glimmer in Scott's eyes. I've been blessed to know a lot of these people for 15+ years and have been lucky enough to meet some in person.

After researching Maggy's Walton figures (she's a Waltons collector) I found the Museum. I lurked on and off for a few years until the bug hit me and I decided to start collecting the WGSH line. I had some of them as a kid, along with a couple of SMDM figures. So I finally signed up late last year and thanks to many of you folks I am putting together a nice collection of minty loose figures with a few carded ones too.

I was reading the Museum stuff when Scott was still using the columns in the format. Maybe '98? I don't remember. It was linked to Yesterdayland.com.
