What a pain in the butt this is becoming. I have been carring worker comp and have found out it is the wrong coverage. What we were told and sold by our agent was not what we needed, so now my money(or most of it) gone and I need to get new coverage. I love the freedom of working for myself, but the hoops are getting harder and harder to jump through.

My favorite aspect of doing construction work is when you figure the time, say 3 days, materials, say 220$ & labor. 6 days later you finish up & only spent 405$ on materials. A really satisfying experience.Comment

This is sarcasm right? Hard to tell these days. I can see estimating 405 and actually spending 220 is good (You made 185 extra) but the other way elludes me.
Personally I hate sub contractors. You pay the big name guy big money and he sends the little fish to do the work. Rather the little guy advertise directly and save.Last edited by Doc; Feb 10, '11, 2:41 PM.Comment
