We usually get snow in Arkansas at least once every winter. Sometimes heavy, sometimes light.
This year, we've been pummeled by it. This is the 4th or 5th snow we've had. And the most.Comment

It's been crazy this year. Already, my son has missed nine days of school. They've already called Thursday and Friday, so that makes it twelve. At this rate, we'll be going until late June!--

We have 24 inches in Springdale and I've got a drift of at least 5 feet on my 8-foot back-yard fence. I think the Donner Party is holed up in my tool shed.
It's supposed to be -3 tonight but 58 on Saturday. That's Arkansas for you.Comment

They'll figure out some way. When we had the same problem in Maryland last year, the cut a few days from Spring Break, added a few days to the end of the year and the School Board voted to not enforce the 2 or 3 additional days that is mandated by state law. I'm not sure how they got around that one but they did."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."
