Poor Apollo! Someone should chain up his owner out in weather like that and see how he liked it! And gee, I wonder why they didn't want to identify his owner? Maybe it's b/c they knew people would get enraged, go to his house and beat the crap out of him!
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
I'm seriously More Upset over the Fact that in the U.S.A. You Have to Get a License to Fish ..., But you Don't half to Have 1 To Breed, and Create Life, Which to me is Far More Important with all the Dead Beat Mom's and Dad's That Are Worthless out there.
... The Original Knight ..., Often Imitated, However Never Duplicated. The 1st Knight in Customs.
Sorry if it's a child, animal or a senior citizen it's all bad when it happens because most of the time they can't defend themselves....
Abuse in any form is bad , On another note I know this crackpot who once told me if he seen a cat getting run over and a kid he would help the cat and forget about the kid , i went ape and said if I seen it happen Id kick the cat out the way and save the kid , people do get to carried away over Animals , its sad if they get hurt but its more horrific and news worthy if its some woman or some poor little kid

Well in both cases I would choice both but you would choose to save the kid I would save both...that's the difference........
there's a million and half animals that are worth more then some Humans
yes a child or a good person comes before any animal, but it's still very sad to see animal abuse...as an animal lover it does bother the **** out of me, sorry
Animals come before people, but people have a responsibility to not allow needless animal suffering.
I am saying needless because there are some times you will need to do, like test lifesaving drugs on animals first and that may involve animal suffering, fine, I am cool with that. I'm also cool with killing animals for food (especially since I still eat meat), they just should be killed humanely. Good hunters make sure they shoot for a quick and painless kill instead of injuring an animal so it has a suffering death.
But when an animal that is supposed to be someone's responsibility to take care of is left in sub zero cold to the point where it ends up in the condition of that dog, I am sorry, I want to string that guy or gal up, I want the book thrown at them.
A person that doesn't care if an animal suffers is usually the same person that doesn't care if a human suffers. Not all the time, but usually.
I am not for "animal rights" I am for the fact that we being intelligent and at the top of the food chain can and should use animals for our benefit but not inflict suffering on animals for fun or whim, by our actions or neglect.
Please dont misconstrue me I love Animals I love Dogs and we had one for 19 years a jack Russell called Spike he died last year :( we miss him so so much

I knew what you were trying to say
but something like this is worth getting a little worked up over because it was needless.
I think most people are on the same page on this topic. I would choose human life over most animals, but there are some people I must say I wouldn't (serial killers etc.). and then there are some animals that I wish I could have back that have passes away. Sniffy the family dog 1976-1986 RIP good buddy. Batman you kind of came off a bit harsh at karen. I think Karen had a good point there are much worse things in this world that people do to other people than what happened to this poor dog.

you are so right ... makes me sick! Since I've gone back to school and at a community college so it's full of a mix of folks. I see people that had no chance due to stupid parents and really even with the work they're trying to get done they're already have such an up hill battle I don't think most will make it and most will live off the system due to the crap their parents put them through. And then oh man so many lame young parents, their kids don't have a chance ... pull them in and out of schools so they can skip out on paying rent ... just so sad. Goes back to Karen's statement ... you see a hungry little kid just wanting to be loved vs. a dog that should have a better owner ... I hope the little kid would win out.
