That's what truly amazes me about the human race.
You have people who invented vaccines, the power of flight, perform complicated surgeries, accomplish heroic feats...and so on...
...then you have idiots like this woman...a complete 180...
...ah...what a complex people we are...

The article makes it sound like she actually has some rational explanation to this which clearly indicates that she should not get the dog back and probably should be evaluated for mental disorder."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

Brain freeze. Guess it's not so different to sending a dog into space with limited food and water supplies...Comment

It would probably suffocate ...
Not only because of the box, but the box being surrounded by more boxes inside a truck.
If it went 2 day airmail the cargo section of the plain would mostly likely not be pressurized ... killing it.
It probably wouldn't survive no matter what.Comment

This disproves the Theory of Evolution.

Actually, animals through the mail are not uncommon. A puppy is a bit much but I had a friend that sold African Pygmie Hedgehogs years back. Think Sonic the Hedgehog. When he couldn't breed them fast enough he would order them from a breeder in TX. They would ship them by the dozen in a box with a packing material and holes in the box. They were clearly marked as live specimens and they just slept the whole trip. They ship next day much like medical stuff does. By no means am I defending this idiot, just saying it is possible to ship animals in some cases. It's not a doll it's an action figure.Comment

I'm gonna squeeze a hippo into the large flat rate box just to see what happens.
I would love to fill one with lead just to **** them off. $14.95 to ship an 80 pound box. Send it to an address that has a walking rural carrier. He'd need a wagon to pull it around. It's not a doll it's an action figure.Comment
