Hmmmm....
They're REALLY small, and they don't hold their weapons so good. (Being metal their hands don't flex.) There are some vehicles, and they ARE pretty nifty. I've always wanted to make 8" Mego ones, but haven't been able to find decent shiny gold fabric.

The line was well conceived but poorly executed and the people in this
thread pretty much summed up why.
Also... I actualy blew about $100 on this line in the late 90s and, personlly regretted my decision once they were in my hands... so that's
a big reason why I'd give you that advice."No. No no no no no no. You done got me talkin' politics. I didn't wanna'. Like I said y'all, I'm just happy to be alive. I think I'll scoot over here right by this winda', let this beautiful carriage rock me to sleep, and dream about how lucky I am." - Chris MannixComment

I have Eagle Island playset and I think I still have like 3 of the figures. They're pretty cool. I didn't much play with the figures as I had no idea who they were. The playset got used for pretty much everything. It was a Cobra Base at one point. I think I used it with Batman and other heroes too.Comment

I collect them, and think they are great. that said I always bought them cheap in lots and stuff. I bought them because I like them, not for investment.
they dont hold the weapons well, but are cool nonetheless. sort of poseable toy metal soldiers. I think the line would do well if revived in 8". Had great characters and a neat look overall."Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

I like the box/card art, but the figures themselves are tiny and poorly articulated. I had them as a kid and never bought any as an adult collector, even as cheap as they go for. Lion Rock WWII figures were far superior.
Ha! I worked Lion Rock into this thread...Comment

I never had interest in this line.....they came about as I was losing interest in toys. My kid brother had the island playset and some of the figures and they just were not well made. I actually have one of the figures in my parts box.Comment

I still have my Eagle Force ninja figure (Savitar I believe). I didn't even realize he was Mego until I joined here. I don't collect them though. Too small to be involved in inter-species-toy play.

I collect Eagle Force. I had 'em as a kid and they were alot of fun to play with, and the figures have cool card art and the vehicles and playsets were good fun, but they were more like playing with/collecting lead figurines than 3-3/4" Joes, really. They don't have much after-market value it seems, either. So honestly I'd say unless you had a sentimental attachment to them as I do, or you're really into collecting all kinds of small army figurines and stuff, you might be disappointed. Odds are someday you'll run into some of 'em at a flea market or toy show, check 'em out then.Comment

I had quite a collection as a kid when Pic N' Save carried them. Had no idea about them, never paid attention they were made by Mego. I had several figures. Who'd a thunk I'd be nostalgic about the line again? Makes me want to buy them up again, but I'm busy wit SMDM right now.Comment
