    I sold my Ikea cabinets....

...and it went to a great home...a very nice couple who drove all the way from Santa Rosa to Oakland...a 60 mile trip...sold them through Craigslist.

They collect Tiki Mugs...and my former cabinets looks great with them...the couple sent me these pictures...

It's always nice when you sell an item to people who really appreciates it...

I was selling an old beat up truck with a salvaged title (that I was using for yard work) of mine through Craigslist a few years ago...and when this one dude showed up...he then ignored my truck...turned to my Mustang instead...and wanted to buy it...and get this...for the price of my advertised truck for $850...and when I came down from the shock...I politely told him..."Are you kidding me...$850 for my 64 1/2 Mustang???"

Then he got mad...and left huffing and puffing...lol.

                Seriously...some people are walking amoebas...

Kid I went to school with had a 64 1/2. He totalled it in a really bad accident back in the late 80's. He was lucky to survive it. He sold the car to a collector for $1500 totalled and then got the insurance money too. He got good money for it and more than he paid but regretted it afterwards. (They don't just show up a lot). At the time he had no choice as he was laid up for a while and out of work.

Glad the couple enjoyed the cabinets. I would be wary about meeting for a sale at my own house for Craigslist, though I guess for the truck and cabinets there was no other way to meet at a neutral location.
                    It's all good!

I would LOVE to have a cabinet like this in my home.. Not sure if the Mrs would allow me to invest in. She's not much of a collector of anything.

Very cool those cabinets really look like they were made to display those tiki mugs.

Yeah...the Tiki mugs look great in there...now I almost wanna collect them...

The natural pinewood of the cabinets compliments the Tiki mugs nicely for sure.
