Been a member for 7 yrs, and other than the throttling issues in the first year or two, have had no complaints.. other than the damn 28-day wait for most new releases thing that started last year.

I doubt they'll be getting out of the mail distribution anytime soon. Their base went ballistic a couple weeks ago when the media brought that up as one of netflix's goals..

We still do no streaming. Don't own any game systems, and don't really even know how it works..

i watched the worst sci fi movie i have ever seen last night on netflix

i had seen most of it at the theaters in 1979. we walked out before the end.

when i saw netflix had it i couldn't resist. my brother who saw it with me the first time came over to watch it with me.

i was much better to watch while having beers and making fun of it. still, bad

I like it...you really can't beat it for the price. I do wish they had more movies available streaming on demand but I guess they can only afford so much product licensing at a time. I usually find myself watching a documentary or other movie that I normally wouldn't go out of my way to even rent. Watch "Max'd Out" the other day which is a documentary about the overuse of credit cards in the U.S. It was really good and even outed Suze Orman for being paid by FICO to give credit advice. I'm kind of glad that my CPA license has an ethical standard that can't be breached or potentially lose your license. It doesn't happen often but sometimes I have been asked in the past to do things that I thought were unethical (one example was to sign off on an audit that a non-CPA performed but wasn't qualified to do so). I haven't been an auditor for years so I really can't sign an audit that I completed because I don't feel like I have the requisite knowledge much less on another audit that I never completed in the first place.

Usually 3 days total. So if you send a dvd back they receive it the next day and ship that day. By the third day you have your second movie. At least thats how it is here.

Netflix is beyond brilliant! I am totally hooked it really is like having your own video store at the push of a few buttons on your remote. New Movies, Old Movies, Horrible Movies, they are all there. I mean "Killer Klowns from Outer Space"? That and similar crappy movies are what i want in my dream video store. Lackluster and the left over mom and pop here in town don't carry much of anything outside of the newer flicks which I think defeats the whole purpose of a video store these days. But then again video stores are done with no hope for a future outside of fond memories.
