Like most things it dwindled in quality / entertainment value over the last several years. Still they had some wonderful moments. Lest we never forget the Page 5 girls

Loved WWN since way back in high school...

Back when we were younger and less domesticated, me, my girlfriend (wife now), and our housemate would make big trips to the grocery store together- he would grab a copy at the front of the store and read it to us as we went through the market. Great times.

Back in high school, my dream job was being a "reporter" for the Weekly World News. I loved that crap; it was hilarious.

As I entered my adult life and my circle of friends changed, I was stunned to learn that there were actually people in this world who believed every word of that stuff. I remember a co-worker once being in tears because her mother lived in Florida were a giant Muck Ape was breaking into storage sheds and stealing garden tools. She was actually terrified for her mother's safety.

I stopped looking at those kinds of magazines when they started showing autopsy photos of famous people.

Not sure if WWN did that, but I stopped reading all those kinds of newspapers after that trend started.
