Toyfare and Wizard mags out of business

Wizard announced it and Toyfare have shut down. Wizard will be converted into a new online magazine, not sure if Toyfare will be part of it. I'm going to miss Toyfare.

I imagine more and more magazines will follow suit. Internet is cheap. Magazines aren't.

You know these rags were so wonderful for their time. I do miss the 90's action figure collecting scene. And Toyfare's humor really spoke to the true geek in me. And even though I haven't bought an issue in probably two or three years, the reflections on those early years are still some wonderful memories.

                Thanks for the memories.

Note to self: never buy a used laptop from johnmiic.

So are there any recommended alternatives in the print media for "toy news"?
                    BTW . . . all Toyfare issues at my house have been "flagged" . . . .

If Action Figure News goes, that will be it for all of the action figure mags at the bookstores for me. Wow. How very sad. Didn't Toyfare have the monthly gags starring our Megos?
