Hey,
OK, here is another Ebay quandry. I purchased two Ring Giants from a seller in England. For those who have no idea, these are overexaggerated WWE wrestling figures that are about 14" tall and representations of current wrestling stars. I collect them loose - cheaper in the long run and the packaging is pretty lame.
Anyway, I got a great deal on the two figures - listed as slightly used. I paid a fair shipping charge for the two figures shipped together, and expected quite a delay in them getting here.
OK, so fast forward to yesterday. I get a plastic bag wrapped in brown packing tape on my front step. The two figures had been '69'd' together, placed in the bag with no bubble wrap or packing material around them and shipped.
Now the postage was correct, and the figures arrived as described. However, shipping two figures overseas in a plastic thin shopping bag seems a bit silly and potentially disastrous.
So here is the dilema. The figures arrived, shipping was not wrong or overcharged. But the way it was shipped was really not appropriate. So do I ding him on the star feedback, give his good star feedback and neutral on the written feedback with explanation, give him good on both and privately email him, or just give him good feedback and let it go, since I got what I paid for.
I'm tempted to just give him good feedback and privately email him, but I worry he will just blow it off. Any suggestions?
