Skunks are cool. And smelly. Which makes them even cooler!

I used to take nature walks and have encountered skunks (me walking one way, the skunk walking the other within 6 feet) on many occasions with no spraying incidents. They're very cute creatures. They definitely stink when they spray, but I've never been near them when that's happened.

I have smelled but not seen them. One visited outside our house one night the smell is quite distinct.
