The Jets beat the best team in the NFL in the Patriots and you can't take that away from them. If they had not the Steelers would not be in the Superbowl.

so you Steelers fans know who to thank for everything.

I said last week that game was the Jet's Superbowl. Ryan even unknowingly admitted it when he said that it was the second most important game in Jet's history, next to the Superbowl in the 60's. They willed themselves to win that game because of their hatred towards the Pats. I guess they didn't hate the Steelers quite enough.

Most of us must think about our favorite team and compare them to the Jets and ask ourself the question,How far did they get in the playoffs?I know my 49ers didn't have a good year at all.I don't like the jets at all but they have made it to the AFC championship
game for the last 2 years.

I was actually routing for the Jets...not because I hate the Steelers; I just don't have a horse left in the race so this is when I usually route for the underdog teams.

This should be a really good Superbowl matchup. I'm routing for the Packers but it won't break my heart either way.

Pretty much how I feel too. I like the Steelers and all but kind of tired of seeing them make it there. Not a Ryan fan at all but it would have been nice to see the Jets win.
That blind side hit and fumble on Sanchez could have gone either way and it might have been a different game. He could have sat out a while after taking that hit but he got right back in there and ended up playing pretty well. I can think of a few dropped passes that should have been caught, one being for a touchdown. Sanchez being only in his 3rd year impressed me. Tough kid and a fighter!

I don't have a favorite team in football. Are the Jets ever going to win it all in my life time? I guess the fact my dead beat biological father and step father were both Cowboy fans the idea of liking the Cowboys canceled each other out. I remember getting teased in elementary when I'd root for Dallas and they were just horrible back in the early 80s. But then look how things changed in the 90s under the Aikman era and suddenly Cowboy fans came out of the woodwork. I guess it just goes to show people like to support the winners every time. I'm not talking about you, I'm talking about the rest of the sheep in the world. I know this for a fact because my wife manages an auto accessory store and NFL gear for the winning team shoots thru the roof.

So let's pretend things went this way...

Don't even say that anywhere I can read it. Around here it's the Steeler's fans that come out of the woodwork every time they make it to the SB. Steeler's jerseys are everywhere now, being worn by people who will tell you, during the off years, they are not really football fans. But they are fanatical Steelers fans now! Banners on porches, blow up lawn balloons, you name it - you can find it around here right about now. Where is this crap, and the team spirit, when the Steelers aren't doing so well? Hidden in the closet, that's where. I'll tell you this, I wear my Dallas jerseys all year on the day after the game, win or lose. I'll be wearing my Dallas jersey on SB Sunday, as I do every year. I support my team in the up years and the down. Can't say that about many Steeler's fans around here.

banwagon hoppers , is really common with any Sports team, it's really just reality. I personally am not bothered by the Act. It is interesting with certain Teams ofcourse.

I remember when I 1st saw it ..., in full force, or maybe it was the 1st time I really paid attention. That was the Year the Titans went to the Superbowl. Anywhere you went up here, somebody somewhere's was wearing a Tennessee Something, which I never saw anyone with anything Before. Then it really got slammed around when the Pats won the Superbowl over the Rams.

Real Common Football Teams for people to wear Merchandise up here is , The SeaHawks, Frisco , and The Raiders ofcourse Because of the Location .... Pats, Packers and Cboys seem to be very common too .... If you go to a Hawk game, and wear another Team Jersey, Jacket or hat, most times you get alot of stuff Pitched your Way .... But for Some reason, that never really happens with Packer atire. It might be because of Holmgren, Maybe Favre, maybe Even Lombardi himself . Whatever it is, it's almost like a free pass of sorts, where not too much trash talking ever takes place.

I'm a die-hard Cowboy fan, win or lose. I think next year will be our first true BREAK OUT year to do something in a long time. First, we have a coach that demands discipline. He has already proven he can win with less. Second, we have acquired a GREAT defensive coordinator, Rob Ryan (Yes, "twin" brother of Rex Ryan). And Jerry Jones has given our coach, Garrett, complete say over every aspect of drafting and hiring. Jerry is staying out of it now. So, there's real promise there. Plus I don't see any sports authorities putting the Cowboys up there as Superbowl favorites next season, which I feel is a plus. The only thing I still need to see is how well Romo will perform under Garrett. Can the coach get him to take that one last step and get us to the Superbowl? Or is he a modern day Danny White? We'll see.
