    Lost my ipod classic

I lost my IPod classic somewhere and I can't find the thing anywhere!

It had over a thousand hours of music on it, and I can't find the stupid thing.

So, now I have to go through the trouble of getting a new one, and re-downloading all my music onto it.

Not only that, my desktop is kerflooey, due to either a virus or a bit of futziness in the hard drive.

I have to ship the stupid thing to Dell for repairs, and hope that they don't erase anything on my Itunes.

Thank God I haven't thrown away any of my CD's. Otherwise I'd really be ****ed.

BACKUP! Get yourself a free standing hard drive and back up your music there. Back up all your downloads to CD or DVD too.
Too many toys. Not enough space!

Got that, but I can't access it on my laptop.

Next time my cousin comes over, I'll have him hook up the laptop to the hard drive.

Isn't it recorded by itunes an your hard-drive?

You should probably hit itunes and see if it gets reported somewhere. They record all the serial numbers and will register if someone connects it online.

I pray you find it..!!! I LOVE my Classic my wife gave me a few years back before my first deployment.. I got her the latest small one a few years back, but I STILL stock mine with vintage toy commercials, vintage Beatle videos, Space 1999, 60s Spidey cartoons, etc..

AND music up the yin-yang.. I love it to bits...

My hard drive on my desktop is currently kerflooey, and has to go back to Dell for repairs.

I suppose that my cousin can hook my laptop onto the external hard drive, but he's not here right now.

            I'll just have to wait.

and if I DO find it in the meantime, I'll have two of the suckers, since I ordered another one from Amazon.

I'll use that one for videos instead of music.
