You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return... -
This is one that I only fully understood after my divorce 9 yrs ago.
Cheers all.

Here is one that I have always been into, but have only fully understood since living with my second wife!
(All the guys and girls are in top form here, especially Donald's nostalgia-induced snickering, but its the ladies singing the chorus that really shine-out like goddesses....mmmmm....)

Probably horribly out of place in a thread filled with 'New Wave' and metal, (I like these genres a lot as well..) but its great to hear JT in top form at 60+, and besides, its pure TRUTH and great for humanity! (Even if Arnold steals the show...His 'improv' is the sh1t..)
I also have a soft spot for the Beacon. Seeing shows at the Garden or the Egg in Syracuse are great and all, but there is something about the feel and the acoustics of these older theatres..I have seen Will Downing and Rachelle Farell here, among others...

Six years ago, I got in a very mild argument with a kid who insisted that NIN covered Cash on this tune. It was very Twilight Zone because he was on the right track
(recognizing that someone covering an old tune and getting all the credit while the original artist is forgotten is very common), but he was so wrong and actually working counter to his point in this case.Comment
