    November's Doom in Belgium

Paul and Larry and their band November's Doom did a show in Belgium last night where they recorded their first DVD. Another great show and it was fun talking to them again. This afternoon they're playing in Holland and we're heading over there as well. And tomorrow night the band is doing another first: playing an accoustic set, in Antwerp (Belgium).
It's fun talking Mego with Museum members in person, makes me anxious to go to a MegoMeet one day even more.
Anyway, Paul and Larry are doing fine if anyone was wondering.

Not only is Larry a grear guy and a great guitare player, he's also the perfect Mego ambassador: he played the show in Holland with his MegoMuseum t-shirt on. (I have some pics, but haven't downloaded them yet. Got a new camera, still figuring out how it works exactly )
And last night in Antwerp, he soundchecked his microphone by doing the Mego Falcon ad. The two guys standing next to me didn't have a clue what he was saying, they thought it was some sort of military code

        Sounds like fun, Thomas.

Here are a few videoclips and live shows from the band. Try "Autumn Reflection", that one is a little more accessible to a broader audience

Autumn Reflection is one of my favorites. My friend's band Urn I think played a show with them. We're trying to get down in Chicago, maybe we'll play with them oneday.

Back home now, suffering from jetlag (the flight home was about two hours longer than the flight out there, ugh!)...we had a great time, and it was awesome getting to hang out again with Thomas and his lady. He even brought out his awesome rare foreign Superman for me to check out. I think we were getting some curious stares from the metalheads around us as we discussed and inspected this small toy, haha.

I definitely want to see the pics you took, Thomas! Let me know when you've got it all figured out.

Yeah I think people were a bit confused when I was reciting the dialogue from the "Mission To Gamma VI Playset" commecial during the mic check in Antwerp

P.S. Yes we have played with URN in the past, they're very nice people! We don't often play many shows in the midwest but maybe someday we'll get a gig together Wrathdemon!

That would be cool. My best friend sings for the band A Tortured Soul out of Milwaukee. They turned me onto you guys way before I noticed you on the mego board. I thought it was ironic later on when you mentioned you were in November's Doom.
Can you offline me some information on your video producer for your song Autum Reflection? I like the video work done there and I would be curious to see more of his/her work.
I have been studying up on video engineering in the last two years and I make my own videos (They are all over youtube). I do work for artists like Bobbie ***** and other local bands. Maybe I can do some work for you later on if you have an idea and don't want to spend a fortune on some million dollar video engineer.

Offline me. We can talk more that way.

Thanks Thomas! Once again, it was very cool to see you in person! It's our own little "mego meet" in Belgium! Good times, good drinks, and that Superman was AWESOME!

See you in June at that little festival we're playing!
