I forgot to mention, that I have given myself a nickname in Jr. Hi. My initials spell S.I.P., so I just attached a -Y to it and I was known as S.I.P.-Y. Strange I know. Even the teachers called me that. When they were selling the yearbooks, each one was marked for pick-up in the office and mine was marked S.I.P.-Y. There are a couple of people from my Jr. Hi days that will see me on the street and still call me that."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

I didn't have any nick names in school. But I have several I go by now:
C-Ho (C is for Carl. Ho is for Howard)
C Bear (the girlfriend calls me that)
Carl the Boy Wonder. A long story involving me stuck in the middle of a brawl at a local Halloween dance while wearing a Robin costume. Everywhere I went after that people would say "hey its the boy wonder!"Comment

At a job I had back in the '90s, everyone called me Boog or Booger. Because my last name is Bognar. When my dad worked for Firestone back in the day, he was called Bogey. I think he got the cooler nickname. Some people call me E or Erk.Comment

When I first played football back in the 70's, they nicknamed me "Claws" after Jaws because of my grip. If I got a hold of you, that was it. You either went down or I got your jersey as a souvenir. These days you would have to ask my wife. And it depends what mood she's in to qualify that name. Typically something starting with an "A" or a "P".Comment

was camping with the whole family was like a reunion kind of thing ... I was walking through the trails and there were trees between the camp site and the trails ... my niece who was about 7 at the time was really into bigfoot stories. Well, she heard me walking ... and she had let her mind run wild ... so when I came out of the trail head ... being as big as I am ... with a full beard ... she started laughing at me and called me bigfoot. then her older sister ran wild with the name and called me sasquach. then saw how my name is Russell, the two combined it and I have been known as Russquach to them since.
So after a bit the whole Russquach name has grown on me lol
I've also been known to be called the Hulk ... due to being calm easy going guy ... unless I loose my temper ... yeah not pretty LOL ... but it takes a lotComment

My Momma still calls me "James"
My wife and in laws (and just about everyone else) calls me "Jim"
The boss will refer to me as "Jimmy" (Yeah I hate it but the checks don't bounce- It's all South Park like for me- JIMMAY, Lum A LAH!)
My friends in junior and high school called me "Bogart" - those with a knowledge of herbal culture will understand when I say the name didn't originate from Humphrey.Comment
