Cool Megos on Storage Wars

Just got done watching storage Wars. Jarrod found some really cool toys in his locker and some really cool Megos. Carded Thor, Lizard, Boxed Spiderman with the diamond suit. Really cool stuff.

Yeah the dude hit the motherload and had absolutely no idea. Mixed in with the SW stuff were a boxed WOZ Dorothy and Lion. The appraiser says "Oh cool, you have a few Megos here." Then he opened up two boxes full of carded and boxed Megos: Thor, GA, Robin, Spidey + more. $10-$12k worth of goodness. And he really had no clue...made me sick.

I was pleasantly surprised that the Megos took center stage. It was one of the first times I actually yelled out to my family "that's a CSS Spidey!". I remember seeing a boxed Aquaman and as was already mentioned, there was an RMR yellow sleeved Robin in the the case that had all the cherry pieces in it. There was no close up of that particular piece so I couldn't tell if it had the original mask or not. The only piece I remember the shop owner gave was on the boxed CSS Spidey and said $3K. I couldn't tell which version it was because I was unprepared to see it but he mentioned it was only one of five known to exist. Jarrod stepped up and paid $1700 for the locker. I still feel bad for the person who had their stuff stored there. I'm sure it has to be someone one of us knows. He had too many rare Megos and specifically had the rarer items like the Kresge carded figures in acrylic cases (they looked minty too). When Jarrod first found the items the reaction was "I'll take to some nerd and find out what this junk is worth" One of us should look up the phone number for their junky consignment shop and find out if they have any of the Megos still in their possession.

As a side note, there should be a re-run of it within the week and it will be on demand and possibly on line if you want to watch it. I'll have to check the city where the storage locker was located (they always mention it) but it is always California (generally L.A. area).
