Cool ad. Rumor has it that Elway is wanting to cut ties with Teebow saying that he has no future in the NFL and may trade him to the Vikings for Rice and a few draft pics I hope the Vikings get him I think he would be a good fit there.

Who cares already....they are acting like he is the next messiah

After all here in Cleveland we have Colt McCoy (The winningest QB is NCAA History) and he doesn't get half the pub Tebow does..And McCoy had a better rookie season on a crappier team...

Let's keep things in perspective. Nobody knows what either of those guys will do next season with a full training camp as the starter getting the most reps/snaps. I think both will flourish and become highly successful QB's. I thought McCoy's drafting in the sixth round was the steal of the last decade. I always thought he was first round talent myself.

The commercial itself if perfect. Nothing motivates you like someone telling you to your face you can't accomplish your goal. And, nobody works harder than Tim, nobody. He's got the Roger Craig training mentality. That will pay dividends throughout his career, however long that is.

Personally, I'd like to see him traded to a team I can pull for. Can you imagine all those people who bought his jersey this year? Can you say riot?

I highly doubt they'll give Sydney Rice and picks for Teebow

Might be doubtful but with the way things have been going in the NFL lately you can't count it out. If there is even a season next year to see if it happens.

it's just that when healthy, Rice is a pro-bowl caliber player, so i think it would take Tim and a pick at least to get Rice

With Rice comming off his injury and the Vikings really needing a QB they may trade big for one. Joe Webb looked pretty good but I'm not sure they want to build around him. either way I figure there is going to be alot of key moves made for alot of teams in the off season with all the head coach changes.

Colt didn't have a better rookie season. He ended up with 74.5 passer rating to Tebows 82.1. Colt played a lot more and threw only 6 TD's to Tebows 5

Tebow also had had 6 TD's rushing TD's to Colts 1.

Funny that Elway would say that, because Jim Kelly thinks Tebow is the next Messiah.

I liked the commercial. It didn't come across to me as him being the next messiah but more the message that he wasn't good enough throughout his life and now he is living his dream which is to play in the NFL (an accomplishment in and of itself). I think anyone including me who has played a competitive sport at more than a recreational level has had people tell them they aren't good enough. It was that way with me in soccer. I moved from the rec leagues to competitive club level and was told I was terrible which was hard to swallow considering I was used to being the best player on the team. I did set out to prove my coach wrong. It has always stuck in the back of my head now that I have been coaching. I have never told anyone that they're not good enough. My daughter has and continues to go through this in her soccer.

When I was her coach in rec. soccer, I wanted to put together a Division 1 team and then make it a club team. The soccer director would not return my phone calls or would continually delay discussing this with me. I finally heard from another parent that he didn't think my daughter was good enough to play D-1 soccer. It bothered me at a few levels (it conjured memories of my own experience and that this director made exceptions for other coaches whose kids were not playing at the caliber). I did pull her and moved her to club soccer. Best thing I ever did. She now plays in a Division 2 club soccer league and would eat a Division 1 rec soccer player alive. She still needs to work on playing more aggressively and assertively but has sick soccer speed, is pretty tall for a 13 year old (almost 5'7"), fit, and has a really strong kick. She has been criticized for her lack of aggression but she is working on it. Her coach is great, understands what it feels like and is trying to continually challenge her.
