Laverne & Shirley for me, too. I had forgotten all about that Fonz cartoon. Now I have to go wash my eyes out.
        It's all good!

I think people may get confused where Mr. T & Tina came from because Pat Morita's characters shared similiar names. On "Happy Days" he was Matsuo "Arnold" Takahashi and on "Kotter/Mr.T" he was Taro Takahashi.

And on "Sanford and Son" he was Ah Chu

If I had to rate them....

            1) Laverne & Shirley
            2) Mork and Mindy
            3) Joanie Loves Chachi
            4) Blansky's Beauties
            5) Who's Watching the Kids (which I think was a quasi-spinoff/retooling of Blansky's?)
            6) Out of the Blue

              Actually "AITF" spun-off:

              1) Maude
              2) Good Times (by way of Maude)
              3) The Jeffersons
              4) Archie Bunker's Place
              5) Gloria
              6) 704 Hauser Street

So about the same as "HD"

Well if you're going to count Good Times then you have to count Checking In...Florence the maid's spinoff from The Jeffersons.

You're right.. Didn't have the time at work to ponder 'Gloria', 'Hauser', "Checking In" or the animated "Happy Days" cartoon.

The jury may be out on "Archie Bunker's Place"..: Same sets/writers/cast/characters (with exception of departing Reiner, Struthers, and gaining the young girl), but new name, replacing the 'parent series' as opposed to 'spawning' from it.

Is it still technically a spin-off? I suppose it is. Sort of like "Happy Days" being renamed "Fonzie's Happy Days" until Winkler vetoed it, or "Baa Baa Black Sheep" to "Black Sheep Squadron".

                              Just curious..

I would say yes on Archie Bunker's Place. It was more of a spin-off for Archie. At least that's how I see it.
