It has been my great fear that at some point the next cycle of Assassination Politics would begin. I hope this was just one incident and the success this guy had does not inspire more nuts to see how close they can get to killing people they just disagree with.Comment

That's revolting and the exact opposite of what your hero Superman would do. Remember the end of Superman The Movie? He brought Luthor and Otis to prison and said "I think these men should be safe here with you until they can get a fair trial," not "Torture these asswipes."

We are living in a dangerous time of hate, and division.We are turning on our fellow Americans.It's turned into "us against them".
We have elected officials yelling "YOU LIE" at the President,from the floor of the house of representatives.
We have political gatherings that look like KKK meetings where people wave pictures of the President with a bone through his nose, holding a spear.
We have school districts {mine,for example} that won't let the students hear the President's address to the children.
Hate is being spread on TV, internet,talk radio, bumper stickers, etc.
The Congresswoman who was shot was part of Sarah Palin's " Take back the 20", in which 20 reps were pictured with cross hairs of a rifle scope over their face's.
We've gone insane, and our children are watching, and listening.Comment
