      I Love Lucy...
Just kidding...but some are going back quite some time there. lol

Alien Nation...yeah...but at least FOX realized their mistake and brought it back for a series of tv movies. I still think the franchise has life left and would like to see it continued.

And Life on Mars at least they wrapped it up and didn't leave us hanging.

I also miss Journeyman and they left that hanging too!!!

I thought they did a pretty good job of tying up all the loose ends on "life on mars". I miss Firefly, and after watching the last five episodes of Caprica, I'm gonna miss that show as well.
I really enjoyed Rome, I wish they would start it again.

Rome is actually making the move to the big screen. I can't remember their name snow but the centurian and the guy who was in the Punisher war zone will be the main characters and it will be set several years after the series ended.
I think the shows that got cancelled prematurely

              The Honey Mooners
              Freaks and Geeks
              Firefly
              Batman 66
              Star Trek TOS

I think all of these shows they canned way to quick and even the networks realized - after the fact - it was a mistake
I actually had heard Batman was going to get a last minute reprieve but they had already bulldozed the sets so they just scrapped the 4th season

silver surfer cartoon - great show. left with a cliffhanger.

                    life. what's the point?

the flash - too bad it aired against stiff competition

as much as i am sad start trek original was cancelled, it may have been necessary for what was to come - same with batman

Call me crazy but "Kung Fu - The Legend Continues". I really liked that one...

Most of the ones mentioned so far I agree with too. One that just came to mind... Star Trek TNG.

Two more... Tales from the darkside and Monsters

Firefly and the Flash, agreed, as well as the original Galactica.

Yep, definitely agreed on ROME.. What an excellent show..!! Always loved the line:

                            "Die Screaming, You Pig-spawned Trollip.."

Now they don't write dialog like THAT anymore..!!
                            Peace.. Through Superior Firepower.

Space Above and Beyond....never really got a PROPER ending.
                              Nowhere Man
                              Journeyman

I mentioned in the comic book section...The Silver Surfer Animated Series...freakin' show ends in Part 1 of a 2 parter. Just like Marvel to screw something up like that.
Birds Of Prey...DC/Warner REALLLLLLLY screwed this one up. Logic suggested that you have Smallville lead into the Birds Of Prey...did WB/DC do that...NOPE. The show had real potential...

Hmmm, I have quite a list:

Pretty much all of the shows Shaun Cassidy wrote and or produced:
                                American Gothic
                                Cover Me
Invasion (I agree about the cliffhanger, and what's worse it was released on DVD that way! Why not a sum up ep?)
                                The Agency
                                The Mountain
Tarzan w/ Travis Fimmel (actually Shaun was a showrunner for this one)
                                Ruby & The Rockits

Ok, other shows I was miffed that got cancelled:
                                Manimal
                                Whiz Kids
                                Dolphin Cove
                                A Year In The Life
                                Legacy
                                Aaron's Way
                                Street Hawk

Shows that got cancelled when I was young, but should have lasted longer:
                                Star Trek
                                Planet Of The Apes
                                The Magician
                                The Fantastic Journey
                                Batman (60s series)
                                The Paul Lynde Show
                                Temperature's Rising

I'm sure there's more, but this is all I can think of right now.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
