    mego preservation society is kaput

I noticed the other day my web site was down. I emailed the guy that hosts the site. He thought I had moved my site and proceeded to delete the contents and remove my account.

So long story short I'm going to have to rebuild the mego preservation web site. I am going to have to dig through my CD collection to see if I still have all the files I had for download.

If you need anything in the meantime let me know and I'll try to find it for you.

Think B.A. Where did you hide the Megos?

Mitch, it's all still there in an archived form and the scans still work. I was able to open a few of them.

Mitch, the page I found was archived in December 2006. I don't know how complete that presentation of the page was, but I was able to download and open everything but The Wayne Foundation (making it 17 of 18 Folders and all associated files). There were other points along the way that the page was archived dating back several years (in case there was other content that had been removed along the way). I only checked the latest archive date.

Anyway, I have everything but The Wayne Foundation saved to a folder.

Let me know if I can be of any help.

I also have the source code saved in text and html along with all the associated images. It can all open from the folder I have.

Mitch, perhaps your MPS should merge with MM .......
              (if MM likes the idea)

I personally think it's a good cause and would be an asset to MM.

                Mitch,

I'm sorry to hear about your site problems and I hope you can recover the content. Worst case scenario: if you have to put the word out again for stuff, I will again contribute the items I have. The MPS is a great great resource. T1K has a good idea there about a merge, if all parties are open to it. Good luck!

Mitch, if you get a domain name, I'd be happy to provide you with server space and a nameserver on my virtual dedicated server. I have plenty of space and bandwidth to share, especially for Mego related content.

I agree with Mike? MPS could definitely be a part of MM
