I would be so totally freaked out if it happened in my neighborhood because I have a serious bird phobia. The other bad news is the 100,000 dead fish they are finding in an Arkansas river.

I haven't seen dead birds but we literally have a plague of the stink bugs here in Maryland. I have seen them before but they are all over the place.

My guess is the tornado and crazy weather in Arkansas. Tornado's do insane things, and they've been known to follow streams and pick up fish and drop them back in streams dead. It could have hit a school of those particular fish and picked them up. Same with the birds like the article said.

When my wife and I were dating, her family's barn had the roof ripped off one night. There were no reports of tornadoes, only strong winds. The wind shouldn't been strong enough to rip a roof off a barn, but there it was, or wasn't. There were pieces strung for miles.

not to spread a conspiracy theory, but I strongly believe someone released something that is only made to affect birds and fish, possibly as a test to later modify for humans

I;ve been doing a little digging on this story. I've got a friend in Beebe, AR where the birds dropped. The official story is not really holding much water. I'll update everybody more once I've got more info.

One quick note... While officials are wanting to attribute the Beebe,AR bird deaths to fireworks, there were no such similar events going on in Louisiana at the time. Also to note the national news IS growing and inflating the number.

It's gotten better over the years. Still can't sit at a table where they are going to eat balut...but at least I can see an ugly half-feathered baby bird on TV and not hyperventilate and start running around like crazy.
