Slow snow response in NYC was deliberate union protest

Sanitation workers selfishly slowed down the cleanup - NYPOST.com

I just can't believe the irresponsibility, people actually died because of the neglect.

Not for nothing...New York Post isn't the most trustworthy or factual newspaper in New York...Put it this way, if I had a bird...I'd use the Post for it to crap on in the bottom of the cage.

Their eyes can't hope to see

I would expect it more from the MTA than the Sanitation Dept. Remember when the guy who's head of the MTA Union went on a 2 day strike a few years ago? He did it against the National Union's wishes. He was trying to flex his muscles and show he was dangerous. He was nothing but a big jerk. I dunno. I don't think Sanitation would have. That's only my 2¢.

I have dug out my driveway five times in the last two days, every time the trucks come by they &%#$ up the shoveling I did already....... So they have been on point in my neck of the woods.
