        Woot, Woot!!!

The ONLY good thing about Jersey is the cheap gas...that's about it...I just live here, but if anyone asks me...I'm a New Yorker through and through!!!

              Hardly anyone offers service anymore.
              I paid $1.23 a LITRE this morning.
              $3.09 a gallon sounds good.

Try $1.36 a litre in Sydney :( No service there...

Jersey here too. Filled up a few days ago at $2.83 and the state is full service by law.

Full service is so alien to me. I remember having to stop in Jersey years ago for gas and just naturally got out of my car only to be told to get back in since it was "the law". I almost felt like I was going to be hauled off to jail for stepping out of my car. The only full service or even options for full service I have experienced outside of Jersey is Western Maryland. It still feels strange to me for some reason. If they popped the hood, check the oil, wash the windshield etc...maybe I'd be ok with it but to pump petro into my tank? Thankfully, most of our grocery stores have self service and even though there is no discount for doing it yourself...the lines are usually shorter (it hasn't fully caught on yet); I don't mind swiping my items across a scanner. It isn't rocket science.
