    Favre... the verdict is in.

He's a loser. Fined $50,000 for being uncooperative and lying to the NFL. I swear, this guy just gets under my skin. Here he demands attention for his precious little endurance record and suggests he's the answer to a Superbowl for the Jets and Vikings. All the glory and power to his greatness. Yet, he has no honor to his wife and kids and can't even accept the fact he was caught with his pants down (literally). Yeah. Some man we have here. What a great specimen. A total and complete coward. Glad he's done.

Wait..WHAT? ...A 'pro athlete' that ISNT a shining example of moral fortitude, one that is perhaps FLAWED, and dare I even say, a BAD person?!?

SURELY you must be JOKING good sir!!

NEXT you will be trying to tell me that the latest roid-freak of the week 'pro wrestler' that is chanting "SUCK IT!!" to a crowd full of children ISNT someone for the next generation to emulate - Ridiculous I say!!

lol well she was a hot chick

he took a gamble and lost, let his wife deal with him now, come on he didn't kill or rape anyone

I find what Harrison does to hurt players on purpose far worse then trying to get into some chicks pants

and he gets fined about the same

He should have retired while he was on top.Now hes always gonna have that blemish. He let ego and maybe attitue over shadow a great career. He should have stayed a Packer.

When he's old, slurring his words, and walking with a walker (or even wheelchair)...and if I'm still alive to see it myself...I don't wanna hear people say, "Oh poor Favre, so sad what happened to him, what a shame..."

                Cry me a river...

I agree completely. He would have went out a legend; instead, he's alienated a lot of his former true-blue fans.

I remember seeing Elway's retirement speech and he pretty much said he had no idea what to do in retirement as he had been playing football since he was a little kid, and since he was 16 in high school he had known he was going to keep on playing until he got to the NFL. So, I can see where it was hard for Favre to say "stop." The only blemish to me is not the playing for other teams and not being able to let it go, but the off field bad behavior.
                        It's all good!

I understand his not cooperating with the NFL - this was ALWAYS going to trial (she will file a lawsuit) and having his side on the record only hurts him. IMHO I don't think she's a victim, but is in it for the fame/money (take your pick).

Just for the record, I'm a Raiders fan(atic) and could care less about the Vikings or Favre.
