    Sorry Michael Vick...

...But Tom Brady will be your new MVP this year.

Horrible football display by the Eagles tonight.

yeah he cost me the FF championship this year, those Turnovers were killer

but if you really look at what he's done in 3 1/2 less games then Brady, I still think he's the MVP

MVP is about consistency throughout the whole season.

Tom Brady has thrown for 3,701 yards and 34 TDs with four interceptions this season. His rating is 109.8.

      FOUR interceptions...only FOUR!

      How can you beat that?

Vick..ughhh....walking pile of ....they ought to cover that prick in beef gravy and toss him in a kennel filled with starving rottweilers....

And they let that thing PLAY football after all of that?! God BLESS America! Nevermind Johnny Unitas kids, you have the VICK to look up to now - so what if he gets off on torturing animals?! (A symptomatic behaviour of serial killers by the way...)

Disturbing to see commerce take precedence over basic humanity.....I might not be the man that I was when I was 25, physically, but I'd still LOVE about fifteen minutes in a small locked room with this flesh failure...

Dude....the guy paid a huge debt to society. He spent nearly 2 years in federal prison, lost every endorsement deal and is paying back millions of dollars to creditors. I may not agree with what he did but Good God - there are people walking the streets who have done much worse than bankroll a dogfighting operation who have had more than a second chance. Hell - in some peoples eyes Tiger Woods is much more of a lowlife scumbag than Vick.

Sorry - just tired of the Vick-bashing...

Seriously?? What about his "debt" to those dogs that he tortured and helped to torture? Are you aware of how they "ready" fighting dogs? Watch some videos of the rings that have been busted over the years....

Indeed... poor, poor Mr. Vick. 2 years at club fed and now right back to playing football....and dont shed too many tears for his bank book, something tells me he has enough bread tucked away...

You should really spend some time with rescued 'fighting dogs' before you run to the defense of this piece of trash...that is to say, the dogs that are 'salvageable' and didnt have to be put down due to being horribly socially maladjusted....

As to Tiger, adultery and torturing a living thing are a TAD different - Just ask Bill, he nearly got IMPEACHED due to what HE did in his private life!

                Good god....amazing...

they're awesome numbers but so does Vick
                        Brady 34 td's & 4 picks 1 rushing td and 30 yds.
                        Vick 21 td's & 6 picks and 9!! rushing td's and 676 rushing!!

He's a QB and RB put into one, he's an amazing talent , they should hold off when it's this close to see who get's further into the play offs and not to mention those numbers are in 3 1/2 less games then Brady!!

I love dogs probably more than some people most days. Have two corgis at home and they are as domesticated as any two pups I have ever owned. Love them and they are family. My 'little girls' you might say. So I completely understand Mr. Krusher's passionate rejection of Vick and would not dare quibble over the validity of the feelings he is expressing. That being said, I do believe Vick is paying his dues. Yes, he is getting alot of attention right now because he has won some games and because of that, people are feeling this since of 'forgiveness' for him. Odd thing how winning does that for sporting personalities? And Obama jumping on board the bandwagon was really...uhm... ill advised. Don't even get me started there.

But if the truth be known, I think he will continue to pay for his crimes for many years to come. And over that time, we will see if any of this "reform" holds water or not. When he faces adversity again, we'll see what shines through in that moment of frustration. Until then, I do believe he should be given the chance to try and overcome this. After all, wouldn't it be great to see Vick stand up against this crime and bring real attention to a terrible atrocity in this country, than to squander the opportunity by locking him up and letting people forget? Trust me. Some real good can come from what is happening with Vick right now.

Seems pretty cut and dry to me. Violent treatment of ANY 'innocent' is a bottom-feeding behaviour, and shows the definite lack of a spine, but the world is a big place and full of opinions...

MIB41 - As to "good coming from this", yes sir, I AGREE....IF he actually felt any remorse, which it doesnt appear that he does. His smug attitude smacks of him not giving a rat's azz, so long as he is out on that field again...watch some of the media snippets from when he was busted - he all but rolls his eyes as if to say "lets just get this sh1t over with...how much is this gonna cost me, I'll get my check book.."
