      I love westerns, as well.

True Grit: I thought the original was great and I'm a big John Wayne fan. After saying that, I think there is plenty of room for this version of "True Grit" and I really look forward to seeing it.

I'm not a western guy and I loved it. I'll have to watch 3:10 to Yuma one more time to decide which one I like more, but it was really good.

It was done well, a great production, different ending, true to the book.

I enjoyed the original, and dont think I want to see a modern version without John Wayne.

Everyone else who I have talked to and felt the same -- when they went to see - changed their minds.

Go see it. It stands on its own.

Sometimes the remakes are better than the originals.

It's rare when that happens though.

Saw it today and liked it. I've always liked the original, but this one was good, too...just a different feel. Barry Pepper was a nice surprise--didn't know he was in it.

Good movie. Just not as good as the original... Bridges is amazing, but he's got nothing on the Duke. Sorry...

Loved it. As much as I like the original, this is a far superior movie in every way. Good stuff. Highly recommended and you don't have to like Westerns to enjoy the movie.
