    If you are a fan of the Cohen brothers...

    If you are a fan of witty, intelligent dialogue...

    If you are just a fan of really good movies...

    I recommend True Grit. One of the best flicks I've seen in a long time.

          Jeff Bridges is my all time favorite actor and 'Big Lebowski' is one of my favorites in his filmography. I can't wait to see this!

              ^ As a Bridges fan, you are going to LOVE this movie. While he does a fantastic job of playing Cogburn, he doesn't over-act and he doesn't necessarily steal the show. The whole cast compliments each other perfectly.

                      Funny you say that...was talking to a friend who saw it and he said he felt Bridges did over-act.

                      Can't wait to see this one...

                              Has it ever been explained why the eye patch is on a different eye than the one John Wayne had?

                                  It's their way of saying, look this is definatly not a remake of the Wayne version, i mean, even the patch is on the other eye, what more proof do you need. lol

                                                  Saw it last week and it was great! The dialogue was some of the best I've heard in a while. I thought the young girl would steal the movie, but she really did compliment the cast while holding her own with some great actors.
                                                  WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

                                                      I LOVE Westerns!

                                                      I will check it out tomorrow (Wednesday)...I love the Cohen brothers as well...plus three great actors, Bridges, Damon, and Brolin...what more could you ask for?
