The brown probably looks more realistic but the green looks cooler. So, I like the green. Reminds of those old stop motion dinos.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
Hector the brown one with a more subtle belly color would look more ferocious. Notice the mottling and patterning of the dark browns, which does not appear on the green one. What kind of environment is this guy from? Which would look better on the jungle floor? Green or brown? I think the brown guy would be better camouflaged in the jungle environment. He is after all terrestrial and not arboreal.
I opted for a brownish/reddish color over the green...
I will post some progress pictures in a bit.
Ok...the guy assembling and painting my Raptor is almost finished.
Some details here and there.
But before he ships me that bad boy...I want opinions on something specific.
He asked me what color I want its claws painted.
He said he gets these two requests the most...a natural bone finish (similar to the teeth)...or all glossy black like modern birds of prey...like an eagle.
