Had potential if not for the bad writing, bad acting and bad excuse for wanting to update a cool costume into something supposedly modern and efficient, but ended up just looking, well, bad.

They should have added Kiss to this movie and had a part 2 of Kiss meets the real phantom of the park! Which sucked as well!

Check youtube, it's tv quality with some decent action scenes, but the re-design of the costume ruins it for most fans of the character, seeing as how people are supposed to believe each Phantom is the same guy, changing his looks ruins that part of the legend.

It was the GREATEST thing I ever saw! So awesome....

....sorry; couldn't keep a straight face there. It's really typical, he looks like a skater kid, and overall it feels like a tv pilot from 1978. If none of that bothers you then, yeah; maybe you'd get some yuks out of it.

My son and I agreed that, although not great, we might have at least liked it if it wasn't the Phantom -- make up a new costumed hero name for the character, and the fact he's supposed to be the Phantom stops gnawing at your inner fanboy. And it's too long, an OK TV superhero movie stretched to a two-might miniseries.

I thought the Outfit was Kinda Cool, and a Nice Cover. However, ... I rolled with Galaxy Quest for 5 bucks last night instead.
