Need info for an obscure Classic SNL sketch

Long story short ....

I have a bet going with a buddy about a Classic SNL parody sketch.

Back in the Belushi era they used to do parody of Don Kirshner's Rock Concert.

They actually did a few of them.

My question, who played Kirshner ?

My buddy said it was Harry Shearer and I said it was Paul Shaffer.

Can anyone settle this ?

I think they did more than one DK Rock Concert parody, usually to show Gilda Radner's junkie rock star character.

P.S. Although I am not sure, Harry Shearer *might* have done Don Kirshner in the fifth season but other than that, definitely Shaffer.

P.S.S. The entire first five seasons of SNL are available on Netflix streaming as well as many other seasons (through not as complete as the first five).
